I remember reading and enjoying Stereo Review during the mid-1970s to the early 1980s.  When going over back issues on microfiche at the local library, I was surprised to find just how few of Pioneer's components had been reviewed by the magazine's Hirsch-Houck Laboratories during this period.

I looked at the index for each year between 1975 and 1982.  In some years they didn't evaluate a single Pioneer piece of stereo equipment!  In fact, during those eight years, only two receivers one tuner and one tape deck were tested.  The following list is amazingly short.
