Pioneer offers a limited production specialty line of stereo components by the name Pure Malt, and sold in Japan only. Besides the beautiful champagne finish on the aluminum, the components are distinguished by the use of solid exotic hardwood. Pioneer's website for the line of Pure Malt components is, of course, in Japanese, so no technical specifications could be compiled.
